To be honest I'm 19 episodes in and I'm not enjoying it that much. Should I drop it or does it get better?

It does get better. I really enjoyed this anime because of the time skips and the fact that there’s not only one protagonist.

It does get better, but i didnt enjoy it as a lot of people here, si i would recommend to drop It if you dont like It

Finish part 2 and watch a few episodes of part 3, and if you still aren’t enjoying it just drop it.

I would say if you aren’t enjoying it yet you should just watch the last seven episodes of this part just to see this parts conclusion then call it quits. Because even though the best has yet to come but part 3 dragging on at times won’t help your disinterest in the series go away.

Most of the time I tell people to drop shows if they don't find them interesting, but JJBA is the one exception since the show changes so drastically over time.

You've already finished Part 1 and are halfway through Part 2, then the following season is Part 3. I'd wait until you've seen a bit of Part 3 to make a decision, since Part 3 is when JJBA really becomes what it will remain for the rest of the series.

I love Part 2 and my wife's favorite is Part 1, but they are the least similar to the parts to come.

Every season gets better, though i personally love season 3 the most. I remmber dropping the anime in season 1. I then rewatched it like a year later and now its my fav anime of all time.

I saw parts 1 and 2 and thought they were fine but part 3 just really bored me personally. If it's not for you then maybe drop it.

Yes it does get better after part 2, you’re pretty close to finishing part 2 so I would say finish part 2, then start part 3 and if you don’t like part 3 drop it ig

Yes. Jojo is a series that takes a while to get to the stuff that everyone praises the series for so much. Imo every part gets better. I would definitely stick with it

part 1 is good in my opinion but its the worst part and tbh it only gets better (if you think part 4 is better than part 3)so don't drop it

Don't drop it wait for part 2 to end and from part 3 it gets better and part 4 and 5 are one of the best.

It does get better, but Jojo is not a show where you can expect the same type of hype as in other shounens. If you’re waiting for power-ups, (main) character development or actual serious fight scenes (debatable) this isn’t for you. Jojo is very unique so I can’t blame anyone for just not liking it.

I say drop it now and return to it later, at first I didn't enjoyed it at all. But after dropping if and coming back at it I enjoyed it very much. I say it gets better in part 3 and beyond.

if you're not enjoying Joseph's part, maybe you'll enjoy the stand stuff that will arrives
but honestly the 3rd part suffers of its length and its terrible pacing

it depends on what you're looking for in an action anime. For me personally JoJo peaked at part 4. (Anime only here, can't comment on the quality of the manga.)
Part 3 is a country hopping, villain of the week shonen. (Not really my thing.)
Part 4 is a surreal high school slice of life Scooby Doo murder mystery. (I'm not joking.)
Part 5 is villain of the week battle shonen, but in Italy. (Not my thing, but at least the pacing was decent this time around.)
part 6 I can't comment on because I haven't watched it, but it seems vastly different from the previous parts. something part 5 was lacking.

If none of what I've said sounds appealing then this might not be the anime for you.

if you enjoy brainless retarded fighting like Naruto, then part 3 is for you.

part 4 is just a universally loved part and part 5 just had the best music

honestly I don't get how people hate on part 1 and 2 where for me personally, I loved them.

they were a breath of fresh air for me as part 1 starts in the 1800s and the aesthetic felt different and the music was the 20th venture kind so I loved it.

part 2 is just the best part because Joseph is best Jojo. I live part 2 because Joseph outsmarts his enemies, and as a huge code Geass fan, and an enjoyer of fighting animes where MCs take advantage of the environment and not brainlessly fpunch the fhit out of someone, I love it.


Jojo heavily fell off on part 3 for me tho, dropped it for almost an year there.

tho from your comment, if you don't enjoy p2, you'll definetly enjoy the mindless shounen kind of fighting in p3

If you’re not enjoying it by the end of Part 2 / start of part 3, id probably drop it cause you’ve given it a good shot by then and it might not be for you
