Jason is dead, his brother Naki is alive.
In the anime, *he looked like*, he was killed by Kaneki (afaik in s1)
but in the manga, Kaneki let him barely alive after consuming most of his kagune. (so he is back in Tokyo:re for having some info regarding 13th ward.)
later, Juzo and Jason fought and jason attempts to kill him but fails, since he was badly injured by Kaneki.

The reason, for juzo having a quinque named as jason.

Just watched epsiode 1 and they skipped the part where Juzo kills Jason, but Its Juzo who killed him, not Kaneki

uh i only read the manga but kaneki almost kills jason in that torture chamber place. then the small crazy guy from the ghoul killers finds jason and is like “woah ur almost dead” and then kills him. then uses jason’s body as one of those ghoul weapons. i’m sorry i forgot like every name 💀

So what happened was that kaneki ate Jason’s kagune and only the kagune but juzo was actually the one that killed Jason.

If you are confused about other things regarding the anime and i suppose to you are, read the manga its 100 times better than anime and its deff worth your time
