| Please excuse my lack of knowledge regarding Madhouse and DR Movie's staff and history. Would you say it's abnormal compared to Madhouse's other works from around the time Akagi came out? From the following and previous decades? For anime staffs in general? Is it understated, overstated, or aptly stated how much of a hand Korean artists have in Japanese animation? Are there any graphs stating how frequently varying nationalities of artists are listed in anime credits in general? I'm judging from the credits of the first six episodes alone, but I assume this goes for the rest of the show. Nearly all of the line art, in-betweens, background art, and scanning was done by those with Korean names. I'm curious how common this is and what influences it had on production of both this show and other shows. |
