I hear about people liking this anime because the guys are hot, but iunno if people like Haikyuu for the guys or for the anime.

What do you like this anime for? Personally, I wasn't the biggest fan, but it is pretty good for sure.

i guess the suspense? like not really knowing what’s gonna happen next sort of. it kinda got repetitive very fast for me though

The guys ARE hot. However if the guys were hot and didn’t have some sort of depth to them it would have been boring af. Personally I liked the characters cause I related to some of them and enjoyed the suspense of it. I liked them trying to reach their dreams and most of all it introduced me to volleyball. A new sport that I didn’t know how cool it was.

I mean they are attractive but that itself isn't the main reason I like it so much, loads of anime have hot guys but that's doesn't mean I'll like it

I enjoy watching them very much. But no these characters in question are NOT hot at all. Leave the lil boys alone 😂

However not to contradict my point per se...

If there were boys in this anime that are considerably "attractive" then kenma Kuro and Tanaka are it.

Really I hope this isn't damn hypocritical. 😓

I can't really explain what I like about it. I can't really put it into words well. I like the team matches, and I like the characters. I was able to get really invested in the story too. Didn't bore me at all.

As a straight dude, no it's not the 'hot' children. I like the pace of each game and everything outside of games and training is boring for me.

I feel like it's one of the sports animes that does the sport part exceptionally well. Realistic as well as has it's own rythm.

I started watching beacause of Kenma (I like the others much more now) but now my all love is by Tsukishima, so yes I started because of the guys. But now I like the comedy and the matches are insane animation is really good. When they play against Shirotorizawa is the best in my opinion maybe because of Tsuki but yeah its worth watching.

I liked Haikyu because I like volleyball and I really liked that the characters and teams still felt like they could stand on their own and weren't overshadowed by the main cast

Haikyu is the best sports anime I hv ever watched .... The player's coordination in the matches is amazing.... Every player in the series(Even the opponents team members) are all main characters in the series..... For The most funniest character is Tanaka San and Hinata Shoyo.... Even I learnt some of the volleyball tricks in the series..... I get certain GOOSEBUMPS when I watch the matches... This series is just amazing

No the show barely has any fan service, almost like it’s a family show. It’s funny and the characters are relatable. Not to mention the matches are very well written. I think “hot guys” are the last reason people want to watch this show.

you'd be surprised with the amount of unhealthy Haikyuu boys simps (keyword: unhealthy) that exist (the unhealthy simps are thankfully not that big but they're still a lot).

it's a great series and I don't know why I like it but it's definitely not because of the cast, the characters are good but feeling attracted to them never came to my mind.

some definitely simps on the characters since they are considered as "ikemen" which is weird but oh well

For me, its the sport itself. Ive never looked into volleyball, because people would always say its a only girls sport and boys dont Play it. 3 Years after i started and i am playing professionally in my country against other people from my country. Not national right Now, but i think im gonna make it there some day.

there are a few hot girls, guys less so, Oikawa is hot too but like none of the guys in the main team are really attractive... the anime is amazing, not the aesthetics of the characters.

not at all, I just genuinely enjoy the anime a lot as a sports anime and that's it. it gets me exited whenever they play an intense match, when you start wondering if your favorite team will win, cheering "KARASUNO" with the others when they win is a great feeling for me. want to add to that I don't ship anyone in the anime I just see them as friends shhss

I don't said that, what i mean is, it's okay to like it because of the guys. This is Shounen, lot of fans were probably teenagers so there's nothing wrong liking it because of the characters look, nothing sickening or ill about it.

no really, from the start I watched haikyuu because on tiktok it was very famous almost every day content about haikyuu appeared, while watching it I sometimes felt sleepy but the plot was fun, and yes some of the characters were very interesting, first i liked kageyama then nishinoya and ended on suna rintarou.

I mean I wasn't planning to watch haikyuu at the impression that it's only popular beacuse of the Hot guys .. but the you see I watched it just for curiosity if it was really worth the hype or it just about hot guys playing volleyball but boi I was wrong I just like how each character have their goals and stuff which they wanted to achieve so I binged watched s1💀
