Japanese golf folded over a thousand times, where high school girls drive further than professional golfers and average eagles and birdies.

I'm still a bit confused as to what the rainbow bullets do, other than "hit golf ball hard".

I'll watch season 2 anyway.

Banger show. Kinda weird that it just ends like that tho, but it does seem like the production was pretty haphazard

Looks like it ended off on a cliffhanger. Thankfully Season 2 had just come out so my anticipation won't be killing me.

this series is amazing 

i been looking for an golf anime ever since i played the last everybodys golf game and this fitted exactly what i wanted 

though will say when they got to japan and everyone having all these crazy skills (sure season 2 will show off alot more) it reminded me a lot like the Saki series  which is also amazing

anyway i see season 2 is here but i'll wait a bit before i watch it well till all the eps are out 

but man this series is amazing golf and yuri 

a great combo

From underground betting to playing for a rich girl school, normally golf is kinda boring sport to watch in my opinion but making it into a crazy over-the-top anime made it quite enjoyable.

This anime finished really strong; I was really impressed. It would've been nice if they wrapped up the tournament in S1, but I can understand why they didn't. I honestly thought Eve and Aoi would struggle in match play at first and then pick up momentum after learning to not bicker with one another. But instead their competitive juices aided them again. We've yet to see them against the best; we'll see if they have enough in S2. My MAL rating for S1 is 8/10; it came VERY close to 9/10 thanks to the strong finish. I don't usually watch sports anime (odd for a irl sports fan) but I really enjoyed this sports anime. I'll have to watch S2 sometime!

This is why we don't watch sports shows. Hell, they barely even golf, even in montage form. Plenty of time for the peanut gallery to comment on how they had golfed, not so much time to actually do it. But they made sure to slap a random kiss in out of nowhere to keep a certain vein of fans happy, complete with the peanut gallery screaming "Z O M G! THAT WAS SO YURI!" Subtlety, they name is not the Japanese anime industry.

And so we (don't really) complete our story, beginning with hustling professional golfers, then going to cyber fighting golf fights with the yakuza, then we learn the basics of golf, before almost starting a tournament. You guys sure you didn't get the storyboards mixed up and then maybe lose half of them? Anything interesting about the first few episodes had been completely jettisoned by the end, and I have no idea why the Japanese girl even existed at all. Even the Goth girl had more of an arc and purpose than she did. You could've replaced this main character with a treasured club from your abusive adoptive father and barely affected any episodes.

Didn't know I could get excited about watching golf. A bit lame on the my bullet is going to pierce you kind of dialogues and shot names which would have been better as internal monologues for characters but yeah. Overall pretty fun to watch!
