| Part I is full of great characters, funny jokes, and an actual plot. It's at least way better than the long, pointless misery of Stardust Crusaders. |

In the former, "the only thing that matter" are the arrow and Koichi for his 5 minutes of screentime in the next part and the latter is the most self-contained out all the parts. to be fair, that’s only like 1 of the 5 reasons i listed on why it’s bad, on top of plenty of other reasons i didn’t mention so even if you take that out because it’s a “meaningless argument” then my statement still stands. |

| Part 1 isn't even THAT bad, maybe it's slow and kinda average compared to part 2-6 but it's still decent, but compared to later parts which are more exciting and intense, it's the worst part. Worst of the bests in short, but compared to most anime nowadays of course JoJo part 1 is easily top-tier |

| The fights don't have the creativity that actually makes JoJo standout. The Jonathan and Dio relationship just feels kinda sudden. Jonathan as a character isn't interesting enough to carry the show and you don't have a great side cast like other JoJo parts to make up for that. I don't hate Part 1 but it's like a 6/10 for me whereas every other part is like a 9/10. It doesn't have really anything that to me makes JoJo standout outside of the art style. |

Jonathan and Dio are pretty black and white but they do present an interesting dynamic through the fact that they grew up together. A lot of people say the part is way too slow, but I think it's way too fast and it should have been longer to develop some minor characters more. |
