I’m pretty sure it’s because KyoAni doesn’t own the rights to k-on songs. I forgot where I read this, but I kinda remember reading something like that

they don't own the rights to k-on it'll probably be in the actual festival part but not on promotional material

yeah just looked it up. Pony Canyon released all the singles and albums featured and performed by the character's VAs.

I'm pretty sure they actually showed K-On! at their festival, I've seen KyoAni latest upload and they added K-On! music, thankfully they haven't left this one behind
