Aldnoah.Zero Season One
| The story of Aldnoah Zero is straightforward. My biggest criticism of Aldnoah Zero is the Gary-Stu protagonist. I don’t see much similarities between Aldnoah Zero and 86, probably because I have seen too much mecha. Aldnoah Zero is more similar to Heavy Object. The protagonist does not have an overpowered mech but uses brains to destroy the overpowered enemies. 86 is more similar to Macross. More focused on romance. Regarding the quote, it is mentioned in Tenkyou No Alderamin Vol 14. I don’t remember the exact quote but it is similar to “If you rely on a hero too much, the hero will die of overwork or becomes the villain”. |
