| There is no difference in the animation itself, the remaster is a series of filters that makes the video "cleaner" and less grainy, there are more than one version and you can check YouTube for side-by-side comparisons and decide for yourself which is the best , some people don't like the 2019 remaster for leaving some scenes too clear and the lines a little weak, I particularly have no problems with this version, but if I were to recommend watching it with the 2013 remaster. (I clearly won't leave any links here so good luck looking it won't be hard to find) |

| I haven't watched the remastered version yet, but I have watch the remaster of Millennium Actress made by the same people. it's the same movie just in HD with more vibrant colors |
