What series got you hooked on Seinen or Josei titles?

My first anime that wasn't Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh was Serial Experiments Lain. That immediately started my love for seinen titles. As for josei, I believe the first I watched of those was Paradise Kiss (still early on in my anime watching career), and not long after I appreciated that anime could portray romance without making it cliche and horribly unrealistic.

Berserk was my introduction and kinda hooked me, monster and vinland saga cemented my love. Berserk still is my favorite manga
