When does this series “get good?”

I’m wondering if I should keep going with this series. I just finished volume 3 and while the artwork is pretty cool, I find it pretty hard to like any of the characters outside of Ban so far. Was wondering if it picks up steam as it goes on?

Yeah , Ban is definitely the best character in Nanatsu no Taizai.

The first Arc (Volume 1-13) is the best , but most of the cool/badass moments takes place in the 2nd one. (Volume 13-29) After that , it just plummel down.
I'd say Volume 5 is from where it gets better. (Also , the Art just gets more awesome the further you go)

when a series gets good is incredibly subjective I can think it gets good at x chapter and then when you reach it you still don't like it so I cant actually tell you when it gets good since that is subjective and not objective

so all I'm going to say is that if you're not enjoying a series quit forcing yourself through it

Don't force yourself to read it but I think the series gets good once the second arc starts. But at a certain point you'll notice a drop off in quality, writing wise and that's when you shouldn't keep going. Basically the first two seasons of the anime are very good but after that they go to shit in almost every way

I personally thought the story got better as they introduced other Sins besides Meliodas. But if it's feeling like a drag for you to get through, then I would just drop it.
