Just finished FLCL and it is weird enough to the point where it's sorta addicting. Is FLCL Alternative just as good? I have high hopes,just wanted to know what others think.

Sorry to disappoint. It’s an okay show. It is nowhere near as good as the original and doesn’t work well as an extension to story.

alternative is pretty okay- not up to par with FLCL but, by all means drop every expectation for progressive. absolutely terrible imho.

None of the sequels are as good as the original but alternative is at least somewhat watchable unlike the abomination that is progressive.

It’s not as good as the original, but I will imo the best to the worst would go like this: Original, progressive, alternative. That’s just me though.

Alternative is a step down but definitely not bad. A lot of the people who label it as bad are just blinded by nostalgia.

The only good FLCL is the first one, the 2 others were fine, had some good scene but nothing like the first season.

Well i’m very looking forward to these, yes the 2 & 3 weren’t great, but they were amazing to watch
