Like many I watched Blood + on Toonami way back when and fell in love with the anime. Years later I catch myself listening to the OPs & EDs but never thought about rewatching. I decided to look at the forums and saw that some people don’t like this series which is fine but I decided to watch it to see if some of the criticism was justified. I’m currently on episode 10 and I’m loving every second. I have noticed that when it’s slow it’s SLOW, but I’m liking the build up. I will say that rewatching this series definitely makes me miss older anime styles, from the OP & ED art directions and music choices, to the way early 2000’s anime would stay on a scene longer than needed. I don’t see many people talk or bring up Blood + so I just decided to write my thoughts down here.

Same, I watched this as a kid & decided to watch it again a few years ago. I still like it & also read the manga last year too

I've been thinking about rewatching it myself over the past two years. Maybe I'll do so this October and make it a Halloween themed thing for myself! BTW the 3rd OP is still a banger!!! ✊️

just finished it for the 2nd time was meany years ago the 1st time I enjoyed it still wasn't a fan of blood the last vampire thought might try blood-c now I didn't see that first time round

This anime has it’s flaws but the ratings to this show deserves to be a little higher.

I also watched this when I was younger and sometimes I worry the romance or drama will make me roll my eyes on a rewatch but I remember being so enraptured by this series. and you saying that early 2000s anime stays too long on a scene is interesting, I don't think I've realized that before but thinking back I think I know what you mean.

I watched it a bunch of times as a kid and I enjoyed it every single time. Recently bought the DVD set and I'm going to rewatch it when I find some time soon.
