| According to ICV2, Crunchyroll has acquired the streaming license of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, its new series in 2009, and Haruhi-chan & Churuya-san. They will provide the first season on their pay service and will move on to the free-streaming. The second season will be available later this year. Bandai Entertainment keeps the DVD license and they expect CR's streaming to be a promotion of the series. Source: ICV2, ANN |
