So I have just finished the first season (Part 1 and 2) and now it's time for part 3, but I've heard that part 3 anime adaptation has a horrible pacing and a lot of people advised me to read the manga instead, I don't really like the idea of starting the series as anime and then switch to the Manga. So my question is, is it really that bad that I have to read the manga instead?

Not at all. While the pacing can be slower at times for this part, it’s still a much more enjoyable experience that parts 1 and 2 in my opinion, especially in the second season of part 3. I highly advise you continue to watch the anime, the last episodes are definitely worth it.

The pacing is kind of slow (especially the first half) but not bad imo, the stands and the fights are very interesting.

Some fights can feel pretty stretched out and kinda boring but I still liked this part a lot and i dont think it was that bad so i guess you can start it and see how it is

No no no. You really should watch it. Yeah the story isnt that great. It is like new stand users appear every episode. But still it is great. This part has the best characters along with part 5. And oh my gawd, the 2nd half,it is just too good. 1st part may be boring. But the 2nd part is just Amazing. 2nd half is basically emotional rollercoaster. And some of the fights are really great. Specially the last fight-??? Vs ??? (You will find out yourself)
And some moments are iconic af and some moments are funny af and some moments are sad af. At conclusion, i would recommend you to watch it

The first half of this season is definitely a little slower, but be prepared for the second half to have you on the edge of your seat!! I put off watching the second half because of the first half, then ended up watching it all at once!

Season 3 part 1 was a bit of a slog to get through, not unbearable but definitely far from the best the franchise has to offer. Very much monster of the week which I didn't much care for, Season 3 part 2 picks up again though and it's all great from there on out. Little bit of pain but it'll be worth it.

It’s isn’t bad, the pacing is incredibly slow.
I’d recommend sticking with the show, the fights are fun and are interesting to watch.
If you don’t like watching the ‘filler’ fights though you could skip to when they arrive in Egypt in the second half of the season.

Part 3 is excessively long which is why people recommend the manga cause you can breeze through it wayyy faster. I will say even though the anime for part 3 is really long it still has its moments and I would say is worht the watch. Though it is entirely monster of the week so keep that in mind when watching.

But none of it is filler

I really hated the pacing and formula of Part 3 because Araki had just created this new concept of Stands and it feels a little bit like Pokemon but the majority of episodes are worth watching especially the Hol Horse episodes

Yeah just finished watching Part 3 and the payoff is so pleasing ! Every "unnessecary" stand battle how people like to call it, make up for an even greater and perfect ending of part 3 with the final battle against dio and of course vanilla ice which is also à great and émotion al fight !

No, it is just long. Not bad. Like Part 1 was rushed like a sprint, when it could have needed one more episode maybe and Part 2 wasn't too long or two short. Part 3 is long, but you won't notice it at your first viewing.
It's more of a thing when you go back from part 4 & 5 and notice how to much time is used compared to Parts with more content packed in. (Meaning the parts were both longer in the manga then Crusaders)
So no watch it, you'll be fine.

Nah, it's a little repetitive, but still great. I've never been sure why it bothers people as much as it does.

Don't get me wrong, the manga's great, but you miss out on all the spectacular voice acting and audible gags, like all of the hilarious engrish.

Part 3 first half is pretty awful, but it’s all necessary to watch. The point is better in the second half, but doesn’t actually get good until the final fight.

The part 3 anime isn't horrible and it's actually enjoyable on a first watch so overall I'd say even though I'm a firm believer that the part 3 manga is vastly superior you can still enjoy the anime.

Part 3 is literally my 2nd favorite part after part 2,I do think that I wasn't feeling the first section of part 3 much because hamon is just gone and u r introduced to a completely different power system,bt it grows on u and u just start to love it,and if u read the manga,u will miss out on the banger openings/Ed and the crazy soundtracks

It's really not as bad as people say. I would recommend sticking with the anime. Then after you complete the anime, you could start over with the manga.
