By sequel they mean a 3rd season right? Also not a huge fan of the show/franchise but I like it enough to watch all the content that's out for it (There's a special that just dropped, movie from 2017, a spinoff/retelling and the first and second season). I feel like the biggest draw for me in this show is def the season 1 content, as well as the structure of the clans, art, setting and power system. I like the large cast as well but it's a double edge sword aka alot of uninteresting characters. Also the upper classmen graduating after the first season were some of the best non main characters and it sucked to see em go even if they are still around in some capacity. The second season was a downgrade but not terrible. Hopefully they get season 1 levels of hype back in later seasons. Irregular must being doing SOMETHING right if it continues to get new content back to back like this.

The yotsuba succession arc would be a pretty reasonable place to cover up to for the suspense
