For a really long time i've wanted to watch hellsing, but this anime looks terrifying. So my question is just how badly will this scare me?!?

not badly is hardly comparable to the horror movie hunter hunter with its ending scene

It's very very gory so if you don't mind the blood then you'll be fine. But if you think it's too much than there's nothing wrong with not watching it

I see it as more fun than scary.
Many bloody, luxurious characters, fights and the hidden aspects of it (Like mentioning the names of real organizations or having a resemblance to real personalities) , All of this makes it fun and interesting.
But there's a little horror, And that's because of animation and
music.

Some of the characters' backstories are so dark and disturbing tbh. Other than that, I don't think it's that terrifying.

It’s not scary at all. In fact there’s a lot of comedy in the beginning

Like Vatican, Protestant, some of the things that are involved in Christianity, And also the major who destroyed britain's capital, he looks like Hitler.

It is not scary. It's incredibly violent though. Also it has an eerie atmosphere at times. But the overall feel of it is not frightening. It also has comedy elements scattered throughout the thing because they adapted the manga basically as a whole and it had some weirdly stylized moments with a pinch of humour dropped into the sea of bloodshed.You shouldn't be worried about getting scared I don't think. It is more of a question about blood and gore though.

Its not scary unless your a bitch which i don't think you're one but it has alot i mean ALOT of gore so if you don't like that its probably not for you

it's not that bad. The violence is quite over the top and Alucard is an unnerving character. Other than that it's a fun watch.

Not really a scary anime, but it has a lot of blood and gore if you get unsetteled by such things.

It really is a superb anime to watch and i consider to be one of the best vampire anime out there if not the best.

Off topic: (Castlevania by netflix is also really good)

It's not like scary
It's just really gory. And there is a lot of blood. If you don't mind blood then it shouldn't be a problem

Not a bit it really depends on what you like I love hellsing and it was great if u like little scary anime I love it just watch 1 episode then you will understand if you want to see or not

I would say not at all unless you’re like 13 (in which case don’t watch it), this anime is dark and has dark imagery but it’s not remotely scary - but this is coming from someone who was made to play horror games at the age of 8 so maybe i’m weird lmao

I really like this anime. It's not scary at all, it's true that the red paint flows like in hardly any anime, but if you don't have a problem with it then go ahead :)

The characters are great, especially Victoria, and the anime itself is cool and nice. It differs in a few things from the first hellsing, for example in humor, but there are things that it does worse and does better, and I recommend that you watch both.
