Can someone explain what is going on i can understand a little bit of what is going but i just can't wrap my head around this fraud of money and its decreasing value or how anyone can make profit from money whose value is decresing

Oh okay, gotcha. I was confused at first too, but they definitely over complicated something somewhat simple lol.
Basically Lawrence was being set up, being made to believe they could make a big profit, but when he figures out the coins going down in value instead of up like he was originally told, he starts to work towards figuring out who put the other guy up to setting him up. So there was never a way to profit from the money they were talking about, he was just led to believe it, to f**k him over. I don't want to say too much more in case you didn't watch the whole arc lol
