| Yuri reminds me a whole lot of haruhi o_o just not as in control,but I thought the first episode was very good,though i'd like to see them get deeper into the point of the show. XD I have good expectations for Angel beats though,and the insert concert song is very addicting for me. xD |

| Great animation and absolutely amazing art. Character designs are kinda...dull? Also don't like Yuri. She's too much like overrated Haruhi. Was hoping to see the OP in this episode... I didn't like how they had comedy in it. Would have been better as a serious anime. lol at people complaining about the review giving this a 10. If you don't like the review, then DON'T READ THE DAMN THING. Bloody hell, it's not like the world is going to end if somebody wrote a goddamn review for the show. |

| Nothing happened for the entire episode. Setting was meh. Character design was meh. BG was meh. Story was meh. Casts were meh. Everything was basically not over my standard of 'meh'. Design of general character really bugged me hell a lot. Very inconsistent. BG was not that bad though; all those usage of CG was a bit off, but generally good. However, I can't deny I disappointed a bit on PA Works, which is trying to become Kyo-ani generation two, basically. The critical problem I had with this episode was how mood flows through. First, we had Otonashi with our overworking seiyuu Kamiya Hiroshi. Suddenly, Haruhi alike girl appears and says 'ima in sss brigade!!'. Then, random blue haired guy came, but after the blink of second, Otonashi went right next to emotionless alienic angel. he said some random thing, then got stabbed. Soon, he got 100 comboed and died for a few sec, went to the principle office and died again. At night, suddenly some random girl groups are doing some band and Otonashi is shooting that angel. I was like... 'wtf with this whornadotical plot swift goin on here?' I mean... all the things are a bit off. Comedy scenes are awkwardly placed and characters are just too random. We didn't even get the glimpse of clue what will be going on with this anime. I know this is a first episode, but... it wasn't good as it should've been. |

| I loved the approach. The story line looks enticing, and the animation is gorgeous. The sound is as well incredible. Everything about this series reeks something wonderful in the mix. And since it's by Key, it's probably going to be sad, but they'll make it work really well. Excited to watch next weeks episode. |

| I enjoyed it, but the animation detail on the characters was poor IMO. It felt like Ookami Kakushi (nice animated spaces and effects, poor animated characters.) |
| Just finished watching it & I thought it was fairly good. This show definitely has potential but I'm scared that it'll play too much with the tropes & end up being nothing but a big blob of mocking cliches. As if that's any more original nowadays... Also I was surprised that the cast consisted mostly of guys O__o Not that I'm complaining ♥ It's a nice change from having KEY's cutesy girls running all over the damn place lol. |

| Seriously if people don't stfu and come off this zomgYuiIsHaruhilolol I'm gonna shoot myself. The caracter design is nothing a like. All assertive and borderline abrasive female leads =/= Haruhi. And to me Haruhi's character was Yui x10 going past the description i mentioned to just annoying and fucking obnoxious. That being said i thought the first ep was pretty freaking awesome and intense (and i've been maintaining the stance can spell Key without Kyoani... and an e. ao that's saying a lot) the battle scene was awesome. music was good, the animation and art through out the ep was superb. Good blend of comedy offset by a darker plot and just hint (but not too much to make the elitist or atheist rage quit) of serious maybe philosophical undertones... Good start. Wasn't expecting anything much so i was pleasantly surprised. |

| Pretty good pilot episode, it explained quite a bit. :) And the animation was fucking amazing. Definitely looking forward to more of that in the upcoming episodes! |
