Surely one of the most ridiculous martial arts series to this day. Enjoyed the manga more than the anime from what I remember. Mainly because I could read it on my own pace and the production of the adaptation wasn't impressive or anything like that. |

| Considering the fairly high number of chapters, I was very surprised at how quickly I've went through them. It definitely got me hooked from start to finish, that's for sure. As someone who was introduced to Baki through the Netflix anime, I'm glad that I was able to give the first entry in the franchise a read since it made me all the more invested towards recurring characters now that I've seen their debuts and learned more about them. I'm looking forward to seeing what the sequels would be like, knowing that the absurdity's cranked up to 100~ |
