What is the difference between White Album 2 and White Album, I should see White Album then White Album 2 or what is the phase?

You don't need to watch White Album 1 before watching White Album 2.

However I recommend WA 1 because it's much much better than WA 2.

If I knew the two weren't deeply connected, I would've skipped WA1. But I don't regret watching. The first one is okay but a bit messy and confusing at times. Whereas WA2 is very straightforward and has a great music library as a foundation. I don't generally like anime music but in this series, I never skipped even one. It's so good and its connected to the story.

Basically the soundtrack in WA2 takes songs from WA, but they are totally independent of one another otherwise, not to mention totally different stories/feels. You can easily LOVE one and hate the other. I’m not gonna recommend either watching nor skipping the first White Album (you do you, personally wasn’t a fan), but if you do watch it and end up disliking it, don’t let it turn you away from trying WA2. The latter is totally different and could end up being something you enjoy. Remains among my favorite anime

just like the others said. But I recommend to watch WA2 because the latter half of WA1 really sucked and it was painful to watch. Too much NTR.

Nothing related. Only a small reference though and you should watch WA2. It is way better than WA1

White Album 2 is easily one of my favorite animes. 9/10
While WA1 was painfully bad. I tried to watch it after WA2 thinking it would be really good and was gravely disappointed.
WA2 is probably the most underrated anime I’ve come across
