Despite what you think The Tenchi franchise as a whole is AIC leading flagship series and the fact they still make more sequals and spin offs shows that it works for them. As of matter fact despite the company's struggle these last 7 years they have only produced the ova sequals so it shows it is still works for them. Now this is a co-production with Toei animation since they sold parts of several of there licenses to them. we will see more of those older series produced. They just finished with the 5th ova series so it will take a few more years but it will be here soon enough. |
