| Hellsing followed the Manga until it caught with it so it had to end the series in a non canon way. Hellsing Ultimate follows is 100% canon. Yes, you can skip Hellsing. But I still recommend watching it. It's good and it has excellent music. Logos Naki World and Shine are phenomenal. |

| Ultimate ! It follows the manga and is in my opinion better paced... The original is kinda dated (at least to me) if you want you can watch the original later, but ultimate is a must watch ! |
| I loved both but Hellsing Ultimate is better, fullstop. The plot, animations are superior. One thing where the TV show is better it's the soundtrack, WAY BETTER. |
