| Trying to start this series, but the original is listed as "alternative version". So is this a remake/reboot of the original like FMAB to FMA? |

| While the original Hellsing has it's own original story, Hellsing Ultimate follows the manga faithfully(If i'm not wrong) so you don't have to watch the original. Also not only does it have a better story than the ioriginal Hellsing it also looks vastly better. Willkommen |
| Some clarifying: Yes, this is exactly like FMA or Gantz: the anime caught up with the Manga so they had to end Hellsing with a "non canon" conclusion. It's not a remake, it's the faithful adaptation of the Manga. I still liked OG Hellsing a lot, tho. The ED (Shine) and mostly that glorious OP (Logos Naki World) alone make watching OG worth it. Sure, Ultimate is better overall but OG has the best music. Besides its only 12 episodes long so I recommend watching both. |

| It's a reboot yes... Also the original hellaing (2003) came oit before the manga was even finished. Hellsing ultimate is basicly a compleate manga cannon. Also the episodes are an hour long, but are deffinantly worth it ! |
