Do I need to watch the whole show.

I know space dandy is a episodic show so storyline of each episode does not overlap with one another. So can somebody give me like 6 or 7 essential episodes of space dandy season 1 that I have to watch.

Edit: watched the whole 1st season, liked it and I agree all episodes should be watched to get full experience of the show.

It’s a good show. But I’m not against your not wanting to watch them all, so I’ll pick 4,6 and 10. And also I think by “creator” you probably meant director or some sort because the anime/manga were not made by the same people

Tf dude watch the full show or don't watch it at all. Its episodic for a reason. It's from the creator of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo and both of those shows are the same way

The space surfing episode and the final one are the best imo, but I recommend you to watch all of Space Dandy, there is no truly bad episode in this anime.

No. It’s essentially slice of life and every episode is unique. Just watch the show. Season 2 is even better.

i haven't seen the second season yet, but some of my favorite episodes and maybe the more important ones include:

episode 9 in particular is masterful, but honestly even if there are some lower tier episodes, it really varies depending on the individual and some of the ones that i didn't mention (due to your request of 6-7 episodes) are still very much worth watching.

You shouldn’t skip any episodes bc that’s like saying “which episodes in cowboy bebop/samurai champloo should I skip”. Just don’t skip any I think all of them are awesome. Also if you are wondering why more people like part 2, it could be because part 2 can be more serious than part 1. Personally I like them both just as much. But if you really want to know which episodes to skip and which ones to watch you just gotta watch the first one on season 1 and the second last and last in season 2

Yeah, it all comes together at the end and it makes sense why some of the episodes feel so disconnected and inconsistent
