| This duel was unexpectedly really hype, something about seeing a completely new deck as well as a "shock" reveal (everyone knew the MCs would eventually get fusions the moment they were shown) made for an extra spicy episode. The new tracks from the soundtrack here are fucking awesome too, reminds me of GX's heavier tracks with a touch of Arc-V. I'm starting to get pretty curious with what the plan is for Luke moving forward. I'd really be interested if they end up revealing in some way that Luke was the protagonist all along. |

| Best episode of Sevens so far! Duel was way more hype than it had any right to be, and The Lukeman was so over the top with the blue smoke and speaking in third-person. Hopefully they're able to maintain this quality going forward and just lean into the crazy. |
