Is the ending of the anime the same as that of the source material and if not, please spoil the "true" ending for me.

Others have said it but the anime is the source, the manga and games came afterwards, so the answer is yes pal👍👍.

Oh yeah make sure to watch the anime and watch the anime also. It is really good i reccomend watching the anime after you watch the anime or before

I don't know if this is true but I heard that the anime originally intended to have 24 episodes and we were also supposed to get backstories for characters like TK but due to production issues, they had to cut alot of characters backstories and if that's true... Its a real shame because even without the "full vision", angel beats is still on my favourite animes of all time. Its a shame we might never see its true vision.

Note: I just heard rumours, idk if its true

This is an original anime lol, so it is the source material. The manga is just an adaptation.

so much wasted potential, if it was 24 episode it could have been a masterpiece. lol
