Honestly restart the entire manga I don’t read the manga but while my friend was starting it I was ashamed to see how badly the show adapted the manga to the point that it made me sick to my stomach

I read a few volumes from the manga, and compared to the anime, the manga was way better. I don’t know that much about it, but I’m currently trying to collect Tokyo ghoul and waiting for the other volumes to come back in stock for me. The manga is incredible out of the 3 volumes so far, so I could say read from the beginning, but it’s ur choice.

Sorry to say this, but season 1 cuts some important stuff from the manga. If you really don’t want to read from the beginning, however, start at chapter 61.

They really have omitted a lot of content in the first season itself,and it ended around chapter 78.It may sound repetitive but you should read from the beginning

I would say read from the beginning, people say it a lot but for Tokyo Ghoul it is important, even the fist season which was adapted the best is missing some important moments especially with the ghoul investigators so start from ch.1

My advice would be to just start at the very beginning, because in this case the manga is really leagues and leagues above the anime adaption. If in the process of reading it all you find yourself "bored" with any of the plot already covered in the anime you can still decide to skip ahead.

First read the full manga then watch Tokyo Ghoul S1 and 2, no need to read Tokyo Ghoul:re as you can direct watch S3 and 4.
