Well, I started this anime just today... Actually, I read the ln and felt it's nice and it deserved an anime. But I think the adaptation is not done well.. what do you think?

If it looks like I stand no chance I’ll run away and think up a new plan, but otherwise, I should see how strong it is with my own eyes, right?

The first season is almost identical to the LN. the second season I understand though

They just skipped some things that are relatively important. Some characters were never introduced. Also they completely skipped Vol 8: Reminiscence which is a prequel volume to the series. Viewing this before watching season 2 would have helped a lot with characterization and understanding who Tatsuya and Miyuki really are.

Thankfully they announced Vol 8: Reminiscence is getting adapted next (probably a Movie or OVA). I still would have preferred that they did this before making season 2, but at least they are doing it now.
