| I love Justin Briner's voice and I've always wanted him to voice a gay/bi character. Not sure how I feel about the dub itself yet, this is one of those works where it just sounds weird to me hearing the characters speak in English. But I'm happy if it means more people will get to watch it now. ^-^ I'm also just shocked that a BL movie got an English dub, much less so quickly, much less with a major VA as a lead. |

| Watched the dub and enjoyed it immensely! I watched the sub ages ago and loved it but they genuinely did a great job on the dub (and this is coming from someone who can’t stand dubs 90% of the time). Though I’ve been rewatching MHA with my kid recently though and hearing Deku’s voice actor as Mio was a bit odd but whatevs, I definitely recommend checking out the dub. |
| It was an amazing dub! It came as a complete surprise to me as well, I was not expecting a movie of this genre to be dubbed- but now that it did I am much more hopeful about future shounen-ai films.I'm also extremely happy with the choice of cast as well- Joshe Grelle is one of my favourite voice actors and coupled with Justin Briner I felt they just worked so well together. I think the best part of the dub is how much this film meant a lot to some of the LGBT members of the cast. It's absolutely full of heart. |
