How do i start this series. Is there any proper order. Cause the no. Of ep kinda feels weird. How can such a short anime , be so praised when i hear about it. I never heard anyone say its bad. So i want to watch it.

You just watch this series. The two reboot series that came out recently were kinda crap imo. Alternative was slightly more watchable though.

Only 6 episodes, I'd say just watch it. You'd be in for a ride for an anime with only 6 episodes

no there's only one FLCL series of you consider because the other two are reboot and they are not connected to the story the other two are just for enjoyment, if you want the same thing as the original.

I didn’t really get this anime, it felt similar to trying to watch and understand a show while you’re high. Although I did like the atmosphere and craziness of it.

Simple. It's a OAV series. And OAV series can be good and with a nice development even with a few episodes, if well written.
I don't understand your perplexity about. Just watch the original and nothing else.

You can just watch this one if you want progressive and alternative are both called sequel Series but neither really have a good connection to the main story
