IMO Koguma and her wife Reiko is the cutest lesbian couple this season As soon as I saw them sharing drinks during lunch, I immediately said to myself "That Yuri guy from the forums is gonna be all over this one" lmao ---------------- Rieko already radiated tomboy vibes pretty heavily but this took it to another level with a spice of american to it. ----------------- I really enjoyed this episode, the chemistry between Koguma & Reiko felt strong in this one and it had some fun little comedic moments in there as well. |

| It's interesting how they skip festival for the most.. Koguma doesn't have interest in school festival, it seems.. And they also have lunch outside as well.. Their life and interests really lay outside of school.. Wonder, if they're content and happy with it or not.. I think it shows that at least in the past Koguma was not interested in those things.. | So much of Super Cub is taken directly from the real life Yamanashi prefecture. I suppose it is too much to hope that Beurre really exists, and one can enjoy German bread and Italian espresso delivered to your table by a cute bleached blonde character from a 1950s American drive-in. Is this anime a slice of life or an isekai fantasy!? Our animation team continues with the use of bright colors to highlight the important moments in Koguma’s story. First, the Eureka moment when Koguma proudly admires her new handlebar covers. The utilitarian accessories allow her to use her Cub in cold weather and continue to enjoy her independence. But the climax of the episode occurs in the cafe when the bright primary colors almost blind the viewer. Koguma’s discovery of the miracle of hot coffee seems to be another epiphany. But is it the coffee? Or is it the discovery of a new friend in Shii? Koguma is no longer the girl with nothing. She has friends. And she has a Cub. And this poor girl living a spartan life has discovered the joy in the extravagant expense of coffee with friends. Her life has truly changed. |

| Haha, 'call it global or just random'! The bakery is such a delight, I want to go there and drink espresso, eat German bread and have American diner food. Very important how Reiko pointed out diners and their significance in biking culture. Shii, I feel, will play an integral part. |

| Great episode. I really like autumn landscapes here and the autumn vibes. And what could be better than a warm cup of coffee with autumn outside the window? Definitely needs more works like this in anime. |
