| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting, it's apparently Rudy's birthday and a time of celebration. Glad to see him having fun and enjoying the time of his life. The bed scene between Rudy and Eris though...they've really gotten close in these latest episodes. And it's nice to see Sylphy back again. I think she's such a good role model for the younger kids. It wasn't long but also interesting to see show up :o |

| The Greyrat family bloodline...I'm pretty sure that this will be a talking point for source readers. Paul as Notos while the others (like Eris's family) are Boreas, that I'd like to explore reading the inferior manga version ahead. Trying to perfect Ghislaine's statue for Rudeus, even her butt is RIPPED. Right after Eris's 10th birthday, it's preparation in return for Rudeus's turn. But how those requests got out of hand from both Sauros and Eris's mum (marriage in particular), EHHHHHH good that they're escorted out by Philip, as funny as that was. The Greyrat Boreas family sure wants Rudy to sink his fangs into Eris (as foretold by Philip's set-up), but wait another 5 years for that...lest he forgets all about Sylphiette within the same time period. This will definitely cause a Discord/Twitter shitstorm. Good to see both maid Lilia and Zenith's kids Aisha and Norn growing up well, and even the sacred Holy Relic box that's kept back in the family. But the turning point...with this is truly the definition of going from 0 to 100 real fast. The sphere seen in the air at the end of last episode...would be a game-changer for incoming conflicts. |

| Just finished watching, a bit different from what I thought, but great nonetheless. There are some changes, mostly cosmetic, and the fight at the end, I recall it happening near roofs, somehow. They also decided to introduced Orsted and other characters now, a tease, and it did play well, especially the scene with Paul and the rest of Rudeous's family... since they are already showing what was going on with different people, just before the catastrophe hit, that should pay up nicely to what happens in S2. Liked how they handled Eris's scene, even I was caught of guard, but thank god it was just a delusion of Rudeous, I mean, he cant go kissing the best girl right away... they still got it a bit graphic, but oh well, I gotta say, Eris was really cute there, and Rudeous did realize his mistake and apologized as soon as he saw her, plus the monologues really help flesh out Rudeous way more, thank god they are being included. The only thing I m not a fan of is the lack of opening because I don't think what they showed on this episode, in particular, that replaces the time when you hear the OP song, I don't think that was needed at all, so it does feel like a waste, wanted to see a top animated OP, or at least see something that further develops stuff, like some episodes previously did. A nice way to end the episode I guess, as a cliffhanger to leave people in suspense, I mean, they could also show Rudeous , that could also be a point for a cliffhanger but wouldn't have been nearly as impactful. | I really hope people don't flame each other over the one scene this episode like almost ever other week, but that might be asking for too much. Anyways, the first turning point is finally here, and oh boy was it glorious. Glad that it followed the light novel and showed sneak peeks of characters to come, which is unbelievably hype. |

| I’m just in awe at how perfectly adapted this was. Wow. From rudeus birthday to the fight with Amafli and the explosion.. everything was just perfect and how I imagined it. I wonder if they’ll go straight into volume 3 or if they’ll adapted the epilogue of volume 2 with Ghislaine and Roxy’s bits. Hoping they do as that was pretty epic. Last 4 eps should be volume 3 assuming they stick to their 4 eps per volume policy, can’t wait. Also man, Tsuda Kenjirou in ANOTHER role this season. This mf don’t sleep lmao. This is his 4th by my count. |

| Fantastic episode again. Rudeus's birthday celebration was wholesome, loved it. I thought Hilda didn't like Rudeus and even though she did at one point, turns out that it's now the exact opposite. xD Ghislaine is ripped everywhere, damn. The scene with Eris was very cute but Rudeus, I think you might want to wait until you grow up a little more and mature in the right places. Was really nice to get the little scene back in the village with the Sylphie and the greyrate household. Ending sequence was crazy and super hype, we also had a couple of shots of characters that we don't know but still seem exciting. Really looking forward to what direction the show will take. |

| Good to see Slyphie again, even if only for a moment, seems like she's over the depression. cliffhanger ending, can't wait to see how things turn out with that mysterious light! I was looking forward to seeing how powerful rudeus's ultimate magic would have been with the new staff but he got interrupted at the worst time, rip. |

| Woa so Ghislaine's butt's full of muscle eh, but that's kinda erotic in it's own way. Lol thou I was surprised by how Eris' mom acted but that was sweet. Also it makes perfect sense why she hated Rudy so far. All of them are pushing Rudy x Eris ship. Lucky for Rudy to have both Eris' mom and dad's approval. Also then that bed scene happened. Eris was hot af and lewd thou RIP Rudy, is his d*ck okay? Good to see Rudy's family and Sylphy again. His two little sisters are so damn adorable. Finally Rudy was about to show Ghislaine and Eris his ultimate magic but got interupted on the middle. Is this gonna turn into a bloodbath soon? I think so. |

| I didnt think the bed scene was as bad as the barn scene, not necessarily good at all obviously, but i guess it was less creepy this time? (not sure tbh) Either way, rudeus birthday was pretty cute all around and honestly better handled than the light novel and manga imo. The turning point was truly the hype of the episode tho, this is truly where mushoku starts to shine and they did a wonderful job showing how important this anomaly really is. I loved seeing a ton of important characters reacting to it, it really helped build the tension. Oh and like usual, animation was top notch, the fight of ghislaine and the other guy at the end (dont remember the name) was wonderfully animated. |

| I love Eris. She was so cute in this episode, Rudeus has to wait 5 years but it's definetly worth it. There were many new characters at the end of the episode, they all look badass, loli was looking cute but we don't know anything about her yet. Ghislaine's ass is ugly. |

| The staff Rudeus received as a present looked sick. Probably be usuful to him in the future as it is able to reduce the amount of mana used to cast a spell. Small introductions to characters who will probably be very important to the story. |

| This was great. Novels have really charmed me into really enjoying Eris' character this episode a lot as well as just everything about the episode as a whole. |
