It's been 8 episodes & Beastars season 2 is probably the only anime this season still without confirmation on how many episodes will air in total.

I presume 12 or 13 cos I think it was suppose to come to netflix near may time from wht I saw but not too sure

Makes sense. The Murder solution arc has 49 chapters & season 1 also adapted 49 chapters.
From Paru's Twitter it seems season 2 is already on Netflix, just on the Japanese site.

MAL is just late af with Beastars for some reason, it took them so long to have a staff list for S1 back when that was airing
