The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (light novel)
| I watched the anime series and the movie, and now I've downloaded the light novels, but I also noticed theres some manga as well. I was wondering where I should start, taking in mind that I would like to continue from where the movie left off (I'm not really in the mood to read endless eight :D). Thanks |

| You can start reading from volume 5 of the novel, Snowy Mountain Syndrome is the first chapter that the anime didn't adapt. On volume 6 the first two chapters are also in the anime but the rest is all new. I haven't read the manga so I can't help you there. |

| This is only slightly related but since this topic just popped up: I heard the novels were supposed to be getting a reprint in 2021 but I haven't heard new infos on it yet, does anybody here maybe have some news? |
