Rank the Jojo parts from best to worst. For me, I'd rank them like this:
5>4>2>3>1
I haven't read part 6, 7, and 8 yet, so I can't rank them yet as well.

It's hard to win an argument against smart people, but impossible to win an argument against dumb ones.

For me, on a fidelity to art style/any improvements over the manga basis:
3>5>2>4>1

Part 4 looked wonky to me. Idk if that's just me. On the other hand, David really made part 5 shimmer.

6 - was such a mess i can barely remember it
3 - most of it was extremely slow and boring, ass pull finale
4 - slice of life, instant heal and time resets ruined it for me

I love all of the parts so much! and even part 3 which is my least favourite I would give at least a 7. Jojo is such a good series.

Anime only: 4>2>5>3>1

In my opinion part 4 had the most compelling protagonist, antagonist, setting, and side characters. All parts are a great, highly entertaining, splash of color in the somewhat dull modern anime landscape. My second favorite series of all time and I haven’t even read the manga.

part 1 and 2, despite being adapted in the same title of anime, they both are like night and day :)

Personally I’m a BIG Jojo fan and I think ALL of them are great! But if I had to rate it, it would be:
𝟻 > 𝟹 > 𝟺 > 𝟸 > 𝟷
I’m mesmerized by the animation of this show. David always makes the show a GOLDEN EXPERIENCE. XD

I just didn’t seem to like part 1
Part 3 was slow repetitive and gets really boring the more you watch it.
4 was good as it changes my perspectives on jojos as it gives of a little bit of sol and comedy
5 and 2 were just gold for me

I like parts 3 and 1, but it looks like Araki was experimenting narrative styles, I didn't just felt that on part 2 cause Joseph is fucking awesome

Really cant stand 3 is like 40 episodes of almost nothing happening and felt the most like a Saturday cartoon, has the best ending of a jojo tho. 4 is my guilty favorite but the last 1/3 is meh that its not better than 2 and 5 which are just good throughout.

Part 6 is such a mess and hard to remember.
Part 7 is the first part of the new universe, we also get to see some stand powers recycled into new designs (which I personally like).
Haven’t read part 8 yet.

Part 3 is by far the most overrated, only a few fights are actually interesting and the story is stretched.
Everything besides part 3 and 1 where all amazing and near masterpieces

Just a heads up I don't dislike any of the parts.

I'm kinda obsessed with part 4, I enjoyed it the most and Kira is probably my favourite villain. On the other hand part 3 was kinda slow and the best bit was the final battle, which took 40 episodes to get to.

Personally for me is:
3>2>5>4>1
I haven't read the mangas for the other parts but i really enjoyed the anime(in fact it's my all time favourite)
Some people may say part 3 is boring and long (which I get in some way) but I completely fell in love with the characters. I can, without a doubt say that part 3 Stardust Crusaders has the most powerful and cool characters in the adapted series unril now.

In reading part 8 at the moment.

As much as i love the characters in part 3, It was really slow and you expected much things.
I really liked Jonathan in part 1 but got kinda bummed when he died so early on but i still liked Phantom blood.
I really liked part 6 unlike a lot of people. I’m not sure if it was because they didn’t get their happy ending or maybe because they didn’t like the time reset thing (i would love to know though) It made me cry like a bitch though.
Part 7 was such an amazing manga through and through. I loved the art style, the story and as confusing as D4C is it reeled me in. (I was also confused if Gyro was the mc or not but i love both of them so much!)
I’m really liking part 8 so farl ^.^

The more I think about parts 4 and 1, the more fondly I remember them, maybe this rank would change if I rewatched. Part 7 was definitely a bore to read, but for some reason I think the anime adaptation has potential to be more interesting. I really appreciate the change of pace in part 4 and the fact that there are no "fillers" in part 2.

For me :

SBR > Golden Wind > Stone Ocean > Stardust > Battle Tendency > Diamond is Unbreakable > Phantom Blood

Phantom blood is good but it's the least favorite part for me

Diamond is Unbreakable, is entertaining because of the murder mystery style and kinda slice of life, but lack tension ( crazy diamond can heal, star platinum : the world) and the atmosphere feels so calm compared to the other JoJo.

Still reading part 8, feel slightly bored imo dont know wanna continue it or not
