If you think about it, the original Gowther's spell truly is powerful considering how many characters it affected.

Got to see more of Mael's past including his time as an angel and feelings towards Elizabeth. Now that he got his original form and name back, Mael is more dangerous than ever. I'm also really glad to see Monspeet scenes one last time in this anime, one of my favorite Commandments.

The real identity is the younger brother to Ishida-san's character. He fell in love w. goddess girl, too. Subconsciously he was also in love w. her when he was demon. It seems like jealously towards KajiKaji's character is his demon side.

Doll guy admitting it was him who did all this. His hatred... FukuJun's character getting involved. Demon power, huh, since he doesn't have the real power.

Demon lady agrees to help out w. goddess girl w. preventing that angel to become dark because they were saved from death from long ago by the main couple. All of them fighting against him.

She got her power stolen, though. She met her partner, or rather, them long ago.

Preview w. two demons (couple?) w. pig.

Damn, the studio did a really slow pacing, but well it doesn't matter for me.

You all anime only can see how powerful gowther's power to purge someone mind, he did it to Diane, and before that, long long time ago he did that to Mael.

This episode was good, i loved it. Let we see next week, see a lot of Mael's past and Gowther's atonement

This power was exercised by the actual Gowther, not the doll, and it's hinted the actual Gowther may be the most powerful being in the series, considering he was able to alter the minds of even the Supreme Diety and Demon King.

Mael's past was okay to watch. But, he's far stronger than he was before. It would be amusing to see how things will play out in the next episode.

The sealed memories of Mael from Gowther (not the doll), the man whom became Estarossa, a wretched exchange of the Goddesses and Demons and a by-product of the Holy War.

An angel-demon hybrid, Mael stands on both sides, and regardless of being, he cannot be stopped. The only way how is for all sides to band together and stop Mael while they can.

Alas, it ended in failure, and Derieri transported to Purgatory, and welcome back Monspeet for the last of times.

Still going strong for the set-up of the finale.

Another epic episode. I'm loving this show atm. I know Gowther is a doll and doesn't have a gender, but if I remember rightly, the original Gowther made his face resemble that of his prior wife/girlfriend (who was pretty), but with the body of a genderless guy so he couldn't fall in love with it, or something like that. Anyway, Gowther can look pretty cute sometimes.

Honestly, this is just the worst kind of plot twist. I just hate it so much.
Sadly, it didn't change anything about the current story. Now mael is a cruel monster gone insane rather than estarossa. Just lazy and uncreative writing.

Recap : In order to end the holy war, GOWTHER the wizard cast a forbidden spell 3000 years ago. That spell altered the memories of one man. It also changed the memories of anyone who knew him. Now, 3000 years later, the spell is finally broken. Everyone's memories came rushing back.

could the goddess clan be any worse? seriously, i wish they'd all die (i know they won't but they are as much the villains as anyone else)

PRO TIP: whenever elizabeth talks FAST FORWARD until she's done talking. if need be, fast forward to the next scene that she isn't in. MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE THAT WAY. i f***ing hate elizabeth

makes sense that goddess demon mix guy is going berserk. a lot of internal confusion, hatred, regret probably. plus the demon/goddess attributes not mingling well with each other. elizabeth probably going to lame things up and save everybody in the fight... *boring* *eye roll*

Gowther is always getting treated so poorly, it's just terrible.

The fight with Mael went back to looking rather meh. It seems like the Goddess Clan has the choppiest and most unimpressive looking battles and attacks. Hopefully Mael gets subdued sooner than later, if not for Tarmiel this could already be over. Angels are the worst.

Derieri looked sooooo much better with long hair, it's not even funny. Poor Mael, he really got fucked hard and now everyone is against him. I wish Gowther could stop fucking things up for just one second, he's really by far the worst of the group.

Very cool. Mael is way stronger then I imagined and it’s really cool seeing the Archangels using their Graces. And the little scene with Derieri and Monspiet was cute.

I just can't help it... Young Mael is frickin adorable, and his resemblance to Elizabeth is uncanny. Both are beautiful 😺

Oh, and, King has definitely gotten stronger. That much is not lost on me. I am glad. He deserved a power-up for sure.
