| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The Skate-Leading Grand Prix has begun, and it won't be the case of sweet victory earned. Truly a long-haul for the 2nd half. Prepare for the onslaught of the many side characters, it'd be best that you generalize them. As usual, strategist Sasugai being able to eye-ball competitors by skill, I'd felt that it was unrealistic (unless he really did his homework), but getting his prediction as close as it can get, that will be his game going forward to help the Ionodai team. The Short Program signifying the start of the competition, is a good level of measure of skill for the respective schools, and it's no surprise given the talents of THAT many bishounens (the character cast especially). Right now, with their current situations, toppling the obvious 1st place (Chutei Uni) is not a good call, the team's entire strategy to become national champions will have to be overhauled. A challenge to both win and lose, but it's clear that there's a build-up strategy. |

| Release the kraken that is Maeshima please, lol, should be a great next set of competition now that theyve decided to win instead of just to survive, hoping for big things in their potentially changed up routine, and also the coach being on Sasugai side. Loved the constant Sasugai Maeshima angst, best, and rewarded with that cute moment of support at the end. Also the shopping scene was great too. |

| First day competition began. Everyone ready to battles, Ionodai in the first course of the match, they grounded up with the twins school. Thats good. But, apparently, their performance didn't match up some peoples expectations. Its actually ended in smoothly, for my dumb understanding. Still, its not enough to defeated the best of the best school, such as Shinozaki school. Then for the worst, they might've ended up fail to reach the twins school with that kind of 'tame' performance, far away from the number one title as if its already predicted by Sasugai. Sasuga, Sasugai! They really needed more motivation. The only way to resolved that problem surely to made Maeshima back to its nature and let him be more wild. However, it looks like the others couldn't catch up much to his rhythm, that created the last free skate to be so messy. Still, since the Coach already voiced up his line, that sounds simply interesting. They still had a chance, at least for the next day of the match. Lets see it, then .... |
