| Yesss, I had to rewatch it. Actually I watched episode 1, rewatched it, then went on to episode 2, rewatched it, then finished FLCL for the first time. A few months later I rewatched the whole show for the first time and then a few months after that I did it a second time. FLCL is just six episodes long because it's MEANT to be rewatched, I really believe that. Nowadays I can follow the plot like it was a normal "anime", but that was not the case on my first watch. I'm always sad to see people complaining about FLCL having no plot because it's straight up not true. |

When I completed the series I had this urgent need to rewatch it to understand it properly. |
