| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I watched the pre-air raw version. The air band was cool. The art style and characters was nostalgic, it takes me back to 2007. And Mafuyu's voice was so similar, i was trying to guess the VA the whole episode. It was Naomi Oozora. (also voices Satania & Uzaki) |

| Everytime I hear Mafuyu it reminds me of Uzaki, even though I don’t hate Uzaki hearing that voice annoys me. Mafuyu and Fubuki trying to do gags was cute. |

| Maybe don't make your whole episode about a joke that isn't funny? I don't particularly like manzai, but they could at least try to put some comedy in. This turned out less funny than similar shows without a comedy theme. |

| It fell so effing flat. Every part of it. The only bit I find good with this anime is the opportunity to hear Oozora Naomi (Satania in Gabriel DropOut) in a slightly less exuberant/excentric role. What's good with a comedy anime that didn't make me laugh? |

| It's quite boring to be honest, not surprising from studio AXsiZ but for a CGDCT made by Lucky Star's creator I expected something better, well it can still improve I guess |

| I was expecting something more absurd. Their heads are fat and weird. I don't know, I wanted to like this more than I did. If they were trying to get the '3 times and it's funny' to actually work on the audience (me) then I don't think it was completely successful. |

| ok so, the episode starts nice, makes u think it is about comedy and that it will make u laugh. Then they throw a music scene (and i freaking hate music anime)so that triggered the f out of me. At this point i am like 'wtf am i watching' and idk if it was cose i was triggered or if actually nothing was funny and i gave it a 'very bad 3/10' in my head. Then it happened, around the 20 min mark, out of nowhere, a random person said 'One Deluxe! Broth Only' without making any sense. Then i changed it from 3/10 to 2/10.... i dint give it 1 cose i have seen worse ones. P.S while it was 3/10 in my head i was thinking of watching ep 2 just to give it a second chance..... yeah, no. |

| god these designs are peak lucky star moe looking at who worked on this it makes sense, just sat there being like wait what their almost in college??? lol as for the show... at first it spent about half the episode before i even found out any of the characters names. but for a show about cute girls doing stand up i was expecting more wacky-ness been a while i can't think of any comedy stand up outside of Joshiraku and that was 8 years ago to say the least it felt extremely flat while being self aware that the main character is kinda bad at making jokes everything outside of that had me questioning if there were any actual jokes happening but eh ill give it a few more goes |

| Hah, Uzaki-chan wanted to be a comedian in these show. The VA looks more annoying than her banters at the previous season. I am kidding xD. Still, its kinda weird when i first watched this, in the first time. The gag really hit and run for me, simply because i don't understand it in the first place. However, as the sensei said. After rewatching it, one and two times repeatedly, i found it quite fine XD. Surely the art style and design for the girls seemed cool and really cute as my standard. a mature girls with a chibi form, nice style! The song was not bad either, too. So, well, as this is kinda hold an unique theme, and really had a potential to heal my busy day, i don't had a problem watching these until its over. 12 episodes were not so hard to be follow xd. The opening act, could they gave a decent comedy performance? |

| Eh, probably the weakest first episode in this season, even counting the fact that I have some interest in Manzai. It's hard to believe this is from Lucky Star author. It already has a tough competition as a CGDCT cuz this season has Gochuumon S3, a masterpiece CGDCT and the debut one, Ochikobore Fruit Tart is not bad either so Maesetsu pales in comparison. Then again, I remember I nearly dropped Lucky Star at first episode but I bared through some more and got warmed up to the characters so I hope this series stay the same, like that impression gag Mafuyu kept doing in this episode. |

| Had to check this episode again to hear Aya Hirano’s voice acting since I legit couldn’t recognize her voice the first time I watched this, honestly wish she never got exiled to the point of where she had to leave the industry because her voice acting is amazing. |

| What da heck is this...the only thing that stands out for this show is the character designs straight from the author of Lucky Star, of which its success is also owed to KyoAni. And also, say goodbye to decent scriptwriting and production values from the typical Studio Gokumi X AXsiZ collab, because this 1st episode was an utter embarassment (which one side of me wishes that KyoAni would've done this a good service, if not for the arson attacks a year or 2 back). So...Satania and Uzaki-chan's VA Noami Oozora comes back to voice this shit? That's the only appealing thing for this show, at least the 1st episode. Otherwise, everything is ALL OVER THE PLACE with inconsistent focus...well, if not for the director helming 2 shows within the same goddamn heavy season, his resources all left to Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear than this, And while the scriptwriter for the original Lucky Star (Touko Machida) may be on this, it represents little effect since the main is given to a newbie (Shota Goto). BIG WELP. | They make cute expressions. The funniest thing I thought was the train bit cause it's just so stupid and embarrassing. Like a scene watching Michael Scott doing something so bad you can't help but laugh. |
