| It comes to personal taste though. Some like myself have seen plenty of anime so we tend to compare with better ones we've seen and score accordingly that way. Like already the first episode I watched so far didn't seem as appealing to me compared to other first episodes of better anime in the same genre. Some people may have not seen as much anime so they can give it a better score due to not having much else to compare it too. I used to be like that when I was new to anime, giving just about everything at the time almost a 9 or 10 but when I look back at some of them I wouldn't think they deserve that score today. I haven't watched all of this one so maybe it deserves more, but even by the first episode I watched so far, I already feel like I don't want to watch anymore and even if it's unfair, some people do rate an anime poorly if they didn't like it or dropped it after 1 or a few episodes. |

| It is very weird that most seasonal anime these days just spawn above an 8 rating. I think it just has more to do with older anime viewers in the past being a lot more critical than anime fans these days. Fans these days will just about give a 10/10 to anything |
