| Mushishi's OST is of the best I've ever heard, and it contributes A LOT to the atmosphere of the series For me the series is far better than the manga, but it's just my opinion |
| The stories are pretty much exactly the same in the anime IIRC (it's been about 4 years since I watched it), but everything that comes with them being animated (colours, sounds, music, etc.) just enhances them. So I would definitely say the anime was better, but I still liked going back over the stories by reading the manga. |
