| Imo Raki's relationship with Clare works as a parallel Clare's relationship with Teresa, in a parent-child surrogacy sort of way. I found that dynamic to be incredibly endearing, so, needless to say, I wasn't a huge fan of the introduction of romance into their relationship. What do you guys think? |
| He seemed like a clingy younger brother, then she up and kisses him on the lips... Had not been getting that vibe at all. They do care for each other a lot, though. Reading a bit in the manga, they meet up after a 7 year timeskip and Claymores don't really age, so it's not weird-looking then (he's taller than her too). Plus, the balance of power isn't as off: Raki doesn't have to hide behind Clare to protect him from every little thing because he can actually use that sword. |
