| I didn't much care for it. ...but take my opinion with a grain of salt because I didn't like Violet Evergarden and wasn't nearly as enamored with Koe no Katachi as the majority. All three seem to try too hard to elicit tears from the viewer and it comes off as forced and cheesy. I think if you were blown away by the aforementioned animes, you will probably like it. |

| Wrong place to post this topic. I actually recently finished this anime, it's just... meh personally. I felt like dropping it but I didn't want to miss out on Kyoto Animation's great animation work. This anime is honestly forgettable if you ignore the animation quality—it had a couple of good ideas but none of how it was executed resonated with me and somehow felt very boring despite how action-packed it is (episode 6 was good though). Give it a try if you're into something like Angel Beats! or Charlotte or something (though I liked both of those anime more—yes, even Charlotte, which I thought was just fine). |

| It's a solid show. Beautiful animation, decent characters, decent story, pretty clever dialogue. That being said I didn't get much out of it. Just don't expect to be blown away. |
| I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought it would. On top of obviously good animation it has a pretty nice story to it and the characters are fun to watch (classic KyoAni comedy) It has its drama in it, but not as dramatic as the 2 you've mentioned |
 'On-Hold' is another way for a completionist to say 'Dropped' |
