EDIT: I found a genre of music called "denpa songs" and they're like eurobeat-computer malfunction-techno songs from hell, purposely written to be disturbing and cacophonous. Sometimes they're used for anime openings like "Kill Me Baby". I don't know if they're worse, per se, but I find most of them unpleasant. Still, NieA_7's OP is so damn weird and I find it creepy. |

| Not really. I'll take this over 95% of shounen and harem anime openings that sound generic, forgettable, and boring as hell. The singing might be weird, but you get used to it after listening to it a couple of times. It's no different from the screaming at the beginning of One Punch Man's opening, or all the screamo parts in several anime opening/ending songs, but on the other end of the spectrum when it comes to intensity (while retaining the throaty voice). |

| Worst OP? Really? Sure my guy sounded like he smoked 100s of cigarettes before performing this, but damn I loved hearing this. It weirdly felt soothing and gave off a strong 80s presence for some reason. I never skipped it. |

| yeah def not the best, you could say it's unique at least tho. i think it fits the show in a way, weird and slightly creepy at times lol. the raspy voice is so overdone it's kind of uncomfortable. a shame, would've been great because otherwise it's not too bad. but hey, i guess at least it's not some autotuned screaming japanese woman, it's something. |
