| If I remember correctly Lupe was a snow leopard in the manga, although I do think the snow lion gave a better aesthetic, and it was probably easier from a technical standpoint as well. This was one of my favorite episodes of the anime so far! That scene with Professor Ochanomizu carrying a powerless Atom through the snow, setting him on display, and then hearing the voices of all of the dormant robots speaking to him in that moment of helplessness was just perfect. |
