| Another fantastic episode. They must protect Tooru at all costs. |
| God Tohru you really don’t want to be a burden on anyone, but most important, your friends really seem to care about you a great deal. So sweet of Saki to think about her friend and persuade Yuki and Kyo to not learn her alone on New Year’s Eve because she knows that Tohru will be depressed because of her mum long gone. Even Arisa decided to check up on her with a phone call even though she had to deal with her dad being an alcoholic XD Akito and Kagura are definitely the most unstable people of the Souma family so far. With the boys skipping out on the banquet, who knows what’s gonna happen next. Yet another Souma speaking of which, got introduced in this episode which I no doubt will be focused on in the next one is Hatsuharu. Who incidentally enough, has the same voice as Yusuke Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho, Justin Cook. Very emotional episode and a great one at that. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I really, really, really want to protect Tohru. She’s such an innocent soul to me. |

| This episode has left me with so many emotions and questions! I'm totally in awe of Tohru's best friends, especially Hanajima's mysterious ability to detect "waves" and maybe even read minds? The moment she seemed to "hear" Tohru's thoughts about making her the first New Year's call was just so intriguing. 👀 And then, Yuki and Kyo rushing back to keep Tohru company on New Year's Eve instead of attending the Zodiac banquet melted my heart. Their decision to stay by her side, knowing the importance of being together during such a moment, was beautiful. ❤️✨ I'm dying to know what Tohru wished for on the roof with Yuki and Kyo. The scene was so tender and full of hope, it just left me yearning for more. And seeing Shigure's neutral stance shift into open disdain was pretty curious. His comment on Akito 'reaping what he sowed' added layers to the mystery surrounding Akito, making me even more eager to unravel his story. 👀 And that ending with the piercing guy declaring Yuki as his first love? Ara ara! 👀 This episode was a whirlwind of emotions, revelations, and unanswered questions. I'm more invested than ever and can't wait to see how these relationships and secrets unfold! 💖 |
