Angel Beats S2 needed ?

As it seems all of the perons in the afterlife moved on and i tought it would be really interesting to see what happens after it. So what after the reincarnation happens.
Or maybe make a season about the past of each person ? I would love to see the past of TK for example and how most of the charakters died since its unclear by some of them.

I really hope we do get another series. The anime felt so rushed , I wish it was 24 episodes at least

I don't know, the ending was pretty definitive. Yeah, it doesn't answer every single possible question an audience member might have about what happened, but most media doesn't. Being able to fill in the gaps with your imagination is fun and probably intentional on the part of the writers.

A season 2 wouldn't make sense to be honest. What it needs IMO is a remake and it should be 23-25 episodes long.

Not a S2, but a remake long at least 24 episode will be cool.

I would like to see more character development since lots of character didn't get much screentime.

I thought Angel Beats was fine. Sure the pacing was fast but imo that is what makes Angel Beats good and is better than the alternative of it being dragged out due to excessive back stories. And I don't really think we need to know what happened to the souls after they moved on.

There are so many unfinished adaptions out there that could need another season, Angel Beats is not one of them.

Jun Maeda (of Key studios) wrote Angel Beats and was a lead writer for the visual novels Clannad, Kannon, Little Busters, Air and many others which got adapted to aanime.

Key are working on Angel Beats as a visual novel, however it seems to be on hiatus with no news about the project in a few years. Volume 1 of the VN came out in 2015, and they plan to split it over 6 volumes, with a total of 19 character routes.

It's almost certain that if they continue this as a game, then the game would get another anime (possibly in between the game volume releases). And it's likely to be a long one. (little busters was 39 eps, clannad was about 50 eps). So I am expecting this to be a major anime event, but wouldn't expect it to happen before about the year ~2024. which by then will be 14 years since the first anime came out, and there will be people watching it too young to remember when the first Angel Beats anime came out!

^ In that case perhaps it might be better to remake it. The original is widely regarded as being "rushed."

But currently Key anime is defined in my mind by the reception of Rewrite. That probably goes for many.

Well..1st season was a little bit rushed especially from episode 10. But if season 2 will ever release in the future (which i don't think it will happen) i will definitely watch it...

I think the second season would only risk destroying everything that was built in the first one.The end of the series is more than exhaustive, so in my opinion it doesn't need s2.
