Does [spoiler] die in this movie?

I've just completed original series and I loved it. The only thing I disliked was Nia's death. It left me unsatisfied although I know it was required to make this series so amazing.

I know its a little late to answer this question but since you haven't seen the movie yet, I guess this forum is still relevant. Anyway to answer your question, yes she does still die in the movie... if anything its more sad since the movie expands on her character a little more than the second half of the TV show did.

@reddelicious130 thanks for answering. I was considering it in the hope that it'll have a different ending. Won't watch it then since for me the show was about 9/10 for first half and 7.5/10 for second half except the last ep. It just doesn't make sense for Simon to end up as a homeless guy without even the love of his life after all he did.
