| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, the Cow Girl came back. Is it also just me or does the Elf Archer seems more girly now than her debut episode? Witch girl is back too and she isn't holding back on her sexiness LOL. Felt like this episode was fleshing out some of the lesser prominent characters. As I had expected, there was some violence with adventurers fighting giant rats and insects in some dungeon. |

| So the story of a new adventurer who lost his sword and a guy who was cheating his friends on money. Guess they have lot's of troubles, adventurers that is. And priest got her promotion which was a nice thing. |
| YESSSS, all that Receptionist screentime, I'm a happy man. XDD Not even Goblin Slayer can refuse a request from best girl Receptionist. <3 I loved all of Receptionist reactions during that trial scene, from her sly and snide remarks towards that other dude and her cute blushing when she admitted she liked Goblin Slayer. I give huge points for this episode. xD Speaking of which, I actually liked the little side story about that pair hunting in the sewers and the guy getting back his weapons. The Radroaches are just ughh, I'm always terrified by them. I was hoping they'd just burn all of em. :3 I guess this episode also shows that Goblin Slayer isn't really much for talk considering he mused about having to run into literally everyone he knows. The witch's breasts are a bottomless pit in more ways than one. xD Ending was super interesting, is that the sword maiden that was mentioned in this episode at the end? Looking forward to it. |

| This episode proved that Goblin Slayer is secretly a harem anime disguised as a dark fantasy. In seriousness, it was another episode I liked. Equal amount of action and character interactions made it a fun episode. |
| Did they just skip the entire village defense arc and added anime-original trash? WHAT. THE. FUCK. Not only is that arc of extreme importance to GS' Character, it also gives us a lot of details about the other silver adventurers. I'm very, very dissapointed. |

| Okay im kinda angry. Did they fucking skip the village war arc? The fuck? I guess it would be hard to animate 100 adventurers + lots of goblins. BUT WTF THAT ARC WAS REALLY IMPORTANT ABOUT GS's character development! |

| calm down people, this episode adapts from side story manga: goblin slayer brand new day, it's not a filler and nobody said they're gonna skip the village war arc. It's very understandable since they only adapt one volume of the LN, so of course they're gonna add some more material from side story manga. i predict village war arc will be in last 4 episode of the anime. |

| Seems that they decided to use the subplot of the daily life of rookie adventurers in the side story Goblin Slayer Brand New Day. Quite a nice change of pace for the monster killing variety since the shows been killing goblin since episode 1. Some side characters gets fleshed out and the was gold to see Witch's hidden inventory between her cleavage lol For any Manga and LN readers, don't panic for the skip of the latter part of Vol 1 and jump straight to Vol 2 since it should a deliberate move from White Fox. The climax of Vol 1 is most probably in the season finale since the Climax of Vol 1 suits better to end the series than Vol 2. |

| So we watched a kid get his sword back and some shithead try to lie his way through his promotion exam. That's great and all, but I want to see some goblins. That's why I'm watching this show. And while I'm on that train of thought, it was pretty funny when GS assumed the receptionist was going to tell him about a goblin-related mission, then turned around to leave when she said it wasn't lol. |

| it would be nice if they slip in a side story once every arc let’s just hope they switch the arc to Sword Maiden first then the Village War for the final episode. because really, the end of Village War arc can become a pretty good way ending of the series rather than Sword Maiden arc, at least in the manga. |

| I'm assuming this is like a calm before the storm episode. It was pretty dull tbh. By far the weakest episode of this series so far. |
| After reading all these comments, I'm not really surprised that this episode isn't part of the main plot. It was ok, but I'm watching this show for different reasons. |

| Get fucked White Fox. Terrible switching to CG for no reason is already bad enough but these motherfuckers didn't even make character model for GS without the armour. He was supposed to be walking around in regular clothes for the most of the day. Why add some noobs from a side story (and botch it anyway) instead of following the main story... Also, what the hell was with that stupid and cheerful music when GS and Priestess were talking about kids from the first episode dying... How the hell was that other priestess feeling the warmth of the candle while it's in a lantern... What happened to the human sized bug and why is the priestess using sword instead of staff... But most importantly, what the actual fuck happened to defending the farm? They even showed goblin lord at the end of the last episode, what happened to all that? These garbage studio and staff are really hell bent on making a terrible adaptation. For fucks sake, couldn't someone competent get this production... |
